I want to dedicate my life to the service of other women, especially those who live in rural areas, as they suffer from gynecological diseases and do not have a way to go to the hospital; the hospitials are too far. The situation I saw in Mumosho was burning in my heart so that I want to much to become a gynecologist doctor in my life.

"This scholarship is important for my life - it will help me to be intellectual and useful to society and my family. It will help me to reach my sisters: to have a better life, to serve patients, to fight against discrimination, to encourage girls to to be active and brave, and especially to help the children with their health problems.

"It is extremely rare that a native Pygmy girl from my community receives a scholarship for higher education. I may even be the first female lawyer in our aboriginal peoples community, and perhaps the first academic in my community; it remains a story that I will testify in all my life."

"The legal problems of my country today are numerous, including the corruption and politicization of justice, the non-payment of judges and magistrates, tribalism in the granting of positions, people clinging to power, gaining access to power by force, and not respecting the will of the people. My diploma will help to fight against these evils by my dedication, by being a good example, and through public awareness and education."

"I have chosen law school because I am very passionate about promoting and defending the rights of girls like me and Congolese women. Completing law school will allow me to be effective in the Congolese society for which I must contribute."
